These terms explain the limits of Carevia's non-clinical international patient coordination service.
Carevia's role
Coordination, not medical care
Carevia is not a hospital or medical provider and does not provide diagnoses or prescriptions. We help international patients coordinate information and communication around a potential hospital enquiry.
Hospitals and doctors independently make all clinical decisions. Hospital feedback is subject to clinical and in-person review, including any further assessment a hospital requires.
No guarantees
Hospital decisions and outcomes remain independent
Carevia does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance, availability, cost, response time, recovery, or outcomes. Any information about a potential care path is not a promise of hospital acceptance or a treatment result.
Fee transparency
Fees and hospital payments
Carevia does not charge patients hospital referral or intermediary fees.
All hospital fees are explained clearly and paid directly to the receiving hospital. Carevia does not collect or add a markup to hospital fees. Any hospital fee, estimate, deposit, invoice, refund rule, or payment instruction is determined and collected directly by the receiving hospital. Carevia does not guarantee the cost or final scope of hospital services.
Practical arrangements
Only confirmed services are included
Travel, translation, visa, accommodation, and ground support are available only when explicitly confirmed. Do not make commitments based on an enquiry before the relevant arrangements have been confirmed.
