Cliniva China Data Methodology
Original tables and comparisons must be reproducible from a defined scope, dated inputs, explained calculations, and visible limitations.
Cohorts, dates, and included records
Every original table or comparison defines the population, providers, records, or observations included; the inclusion and exclusion rules; the geography; and the collection period. The page distinguishes a complete dataset from a sample or convenience set.
Source and extraction dates are shown so readers can judge currency. Cliniva does not describe a limited provider set as all Chinese hospitals and does not convert availability information into an independent quality ranking.
Calculations and comparison rules
The method states the unit of analysis, denominator, currency and conversion date where relevant, missing-data handling, rounding rule, and formula for any derived measure. Categories are defined before results are interpreted and are applied consistently.
Limitations and supporting notes
Material limitations, uncertainty, conflicts, and reasons a comparison should not guide an individual medical decision appear beside the result. When Cliniva publishes a downloadable asset, supporting notes contain the definitions, source list, calculations, and version needed to audit it.
