Cliniva China Editorial Policy

This policy explains who chooses topics, how evidence is used, and how editorial work remains distinct from patient coordination.

Topic selection and editorial responsibility

The Cliniva China Editorial Team selects topics from documented patient questions, public-health priorities, evidence gaps, and search demand. Commercial relationships do not give a hospital or service an automatic right to a topic, placement, or favorable statement.

An assigned writer defines the reader question, intended scope, and source plan before drafting. Editors check that the finished page answers that question in clear English, identifies material limitations, and does not turn general education into a claim about an individual patient.

Sources, writing tools, and generated material

Writers use the source hierarchy in our Sources Policy, open the underlying material, record its publisher and date, and connect important factual statements to the evidence that supports them. Hospital material is used only for that hospital's own services or facilities.

Writing or research tools may assist with outlines, summaries, or language editing, but they are not treated as authorities. Cliniva does not publish an undisclosed generated medical claim, fabricated citation, invented quotation, or unsupported service fact.

Education is separate from coordination

Editorial pages provide general information. Case Review staff handle secure intake and non-clinical communication with hospitals. Editorial visibility does not determine whether a hospital accepts an enquiry, and coordination activity does not alter the evidence standard applied to an article.

Does this policy require partner-hospital medical approval?

No. It is an operational policy, not medical guidance. Medical articles follow the separate medical review policy.
